Have you heard the phrase “drinks like a fish”?
I think that answers your question.

      Hi there,

Yepp – sea fish (ones with bones though, the process is different for sharks) need to drink a lot of water to compensate for all the water they loose by osmosis 😉

Yes they do. As all animals, they need water, so they get thirsty!

Depending on where they live – salt or fresh water – they have different mechanisms which involve absorbing water via their skin and/or drinking it.

Yes although it is easier and faster for them to quench there thirst. When they open there mouths they can be drinking or eating.

Not in the same way we do but they still need to intake water/minerals/etc. through their gills, skin, mouth, etc.
