      billions and billions, even trillions! But they all fall into 2 categories – bacteria and cyanobacteria

      There are three categories of germs (as microscopical organisms that cause diseases): bacteria, virus and fungus. But within each category, there are many, many different types.

      There is no accurate count on how many types there is. Germs evolve and so more kinds will become active almost every day. We do not have the resources to count them all, keep track and find the new kinds that have just came into existence.

      I counted them once as well and there were 126…..two germs for every virus*
