      Hi there,

I believe that no scientist can truly work alone – science is and should always be a social activity. So definitively in a team! 🙂

      Hi Asheydude345

I work in a team, a research group. We all share our results and knowledge and help each other when problems come.

We also collaborate with people in other labs at Imperial College, as well as institutions from different parts of the world.

Research needs collaboration, interdisciplinarity and interchange of ideas. It’s everything but a lonely work 😉

Depending on the task, I sometimes work on my own in my office and some ot the times I am involved in team work.

All of the projects that i work on are team projects, so in that resepct there are a group of people all contributing towards one project. However, we don’t actually work together on a day-to-day basis, we have project meetings every now and again and sometimes i may need to meet with people to get their help with some of the work i’m doing but most of the time I’m just working alone on my part of the project.

I’d like to work in teams more often though, it’s more sociable!

I work as part of a team. There are about 6 of us invovled with thtis project. I’m the one who carries out the behavioural research for our project and their is another person doing the physiological work. The rest are there to discuss ideas with, give statistics help and so on. So for the day to day things, its mainly just me, but we have team meetings every few months where everyone is involved. 🙂
