Yes, I have published 2 papers – both on the volcano that i studied in Chile when I was doing my PhD. The first paper looked at what happens when volcanic ejecta (lava, ash etc) come into contact with snow or ice. The hazards are different to normal volcanic eruptions where snow and ice are not involved, because the snow/ice causes rapid cooling of the lava, which gives it a very specific texture. At the same time, the hot material causes rapid melting of the snow and ice, which can lead to hot mud flows, called ‘Lahars’.

The second paper was all about the chemical and volcanic evolution of the volcano, so basically looking at how the chemistry and mineralogy of the volcano changed over it’s entire history (about 640 thousand years) and how this has impacted on the morphology (shape) of the volcano and the style of eruption.

The job i have now doesn’t really give me much opportunity to publish papers so I’ve not written one for a couple of years!

      Good morning dumhead456,

I have published many papers, about various things going from how satellites can help predict the effect of environmental change to what affect cheetah numbers in the Serengeti. Hope that answers your question 😉

Yes, I have published 6 papers in scientific journals and a book chapter. Most papers were about the shape of the proteins I was studying and discussed how the protein worked and carried out it’s function at atomic detail level. I also have one paper that describes a new methodology to determine the shapes of proteins. The book chapter is a bit like a review of all the information of a specific protein family that read RNA and make copies of it.

Yup, I’ve published a few papers. One was about foraging in laying hens, one was a reivew of chicken behaviour, one was a comaprison of rabbit behaviour in different environments, pretty much all related to animals and their behaviour/welfare! 🙂

Yes I have. About Systems Engineering and the development of Multi-Object Spectrographs. Search for SPIE and my name, you should find all my papers!
