      Hi there,

What’s a science person? 🙂 If the question is “did I always enjoy science?”, the answer is yes. But then I’ve always been interested by arts, philosophy, languages, or geography/history too – I’ve always been curious, and I think that has always been the trigger behind what I do 😉

Including my PhD, I’ve been an active researcher for more than 10 years now. I’ve enjoyed science for much longer than that… 😉

Well, if you’re counting when i first started studying just science subjects, I’d say it would be when i started my A Levels (i studied biology, geography and chemistry), in which case it’s 15 years. But if you mean how long have i actually been PAID to be a scientist then that will be about 10 years, so quite a long time really!

Ummm if we’re including my PhD, about 7 years now – so I’m still relatively new in my career. Hopefully it will continue for a long time to come!
