• Question: If you choke a smurf, what colour will it turn?

      I remember them turning black if the evil one bit them, but not sure on choking… Purple, may be?

      While it is possible to choke a Smurf, I think the main question should be ‘Why would I want to choke a Smurf?’

      The Smurf community has provided years of entertainment for children of varying ages across the globe and it would be deeply troubling for society – both young and old – if it was reported that an attempt on a Smurf’s life had taken place.

      Aside from this, despite their jovial nature, Smurf’s have something of a dark side that they cover up with their humour and high jinks. If anybody attempted to asphyxiate one of these blue creatures they’d soon find themselves in a rather precarious position, probably dangling upside down off a branch of a tall tree or buried in quicksand. I doubt you’d live to tell the tale.

      Also….red (blood) + blue = purple, they’d go purple.

      Poor smurf!!!! I like smurfs. Well there was an episode where one of the smurfs held his breath and he turned purple, seeing as choking operates by blocking the oxygen suplly to the blood, the smurf has answered your question. The smurf would turn purple.
