Interestingly, the sun does move (it circles the Milky Way galaxy) – we just do not experience it because we move with it (the whole solar system circles the Milky Way). But I guess the question is – what if it would move within the solar system? I’m not a physicist so there are definitively better people to ask, but my bet is that if you would suddenly change the location of the sun within the solar system, everything would, at some point, go back to its same location – some kind of chaos and then back to normal. But I might be wrong so you are better off checking with a physicist 😉

Well they say the sun “never” moves so what would happen if it did move? and yes what would be the consequences?
