      Hi there,

I ate crispy insects in Norway – that’s the weirdest thing I’ve eaten that I’m aware of 🙂

      Hi there, fortune

There are a lot of things that are typical in Portugal that most people I know in England would find weird… Things like octopus, pork tripe or snails. I love octopus but I have to admit I’m not the biggest fan of tripe… 😉

I’ve also eaten horse meat and ostrich – they’re both quiet nice, actually! I’ve tried reindeer stew when I was in Finland for a month.

Lately, I tried jellyfish in a chinese restaurant – it was quiet nice, even if a bit rubbery 😉

That’s a short list of some of the most unusual things I’ve eaten.

What about you, what’s the weirdest thing you’ve eaten?

A Mopani worm. First day in High School the Grade 12 made us eat it. So not many happy memories for me, to make it even worse is the fact that my older sister didn’t helped me out!!! This made me wonder what use older sisters could be!

Probably cat food – some friends were playing a joke on me and put crunchy cat food in an ice cream sundae. I didn’t even notice and they eventually told me what was in it! Doesn’t say much for my tastebuds 😛 lol

Snails are probably the strangest thing i’ve eaten and that was in France. I’ve also eated horse meat in Sweden but i didn’t know it at the time – i thought it was renideer…..it was quite nice actually! (And this is coming from a horse owner!).

I regularly used to eat the dog’s biscuits when i was younger (like 5 or 6!) and i ate a pound coin once too…..accidentally! Probably best not to ask if we ever saw it again 😉
