      Hey there,

You mean the £500 price? or my salary in general?
If we are talking about how I would spend £500 if someone would offer it to me as a gift, I think I would go for a nice holidays somewhere – or I’d go for a short diving course to finally get my paddy 🙂

I presume you’re talking about the competition prize money there. It’s kind of hard answering that question, since the money is there specifically for us scientists to communicate science and share our experiences in some way… I guess my idea for the money could be changed slightly for other professions – you could have a “Meet the writers” or “Meet the teachers” or “Meet the MPs” speed networking kind of events!

If you want to know what I would do with £500 if someone just gave them to me, I guess I’d probably offer myself a break somewhere sunny and quiet! I’ve been working hard and some holidays are always nice! 😉

I would pay off some bills! then have a bit of a shopping spree for myself and my partner. I’d also donate a nice chunk to the greyhound charity I volunteer for since I know the money would be well used!
