      Hi Jacob

Well, my answer depends if I listen to my heart or my mind… If I answer with my heart: PORTUGAL! 😉

If try to be rational about it, I’d say Germany or Spain are the favourites. But surprises can always happen – didn’t you see Paraguay almost beating the mighty champions, Italy?! so you never know and that’s the fun of it! 😉

      Hi there,

If only it could be France… 🙂 But I think Germany, Brazil and Spain have a good chance actually – who knows though, World Cups are always unpredictable!

      England ? 😉 lol
I’m not really sure – I’m no good with all the stats and figures they use to decide who’s better than who and usually go for the underdog! 🙂

I’ve got 3 answers for that!!

      1) Who do I WANT to win the World Cup? England obviously.
      2) Who do I WANT to win if England get knocked out? Italy because a put I £1 in the sweepstake at work and pulled out Italy, so i’d win £17!
      3) Who do I THINK will win? On performances so far, Germany have looked the most impressive, although we’ve still got to see what sort of form Spain, Portugal and Brazil are in!!

But whilst England are still in it…..we’ve always got a chance….

      Hi Jacob

For obvious reasons I would love South Africa to win the World Cup, but that ain’t going to happen. I assume that you might want England to win the World Cup, if you are English and if you are Scottish you would like Anybody But England (ABE) to win the World Cup. If I have to guess it could be Brazil, Germany, Portugal or Spain. But then the European countries do not have a good track record when the World Cup is not hosted in Europe, so I guess I would go by Brazil.

PS South Africa is the current rugby World Champions so I guess for us to win the football will be a wee bit greedy, don’t you think?
