Well, Teddy, they are the cell’s machines. They are responsible for producing energy, making more DNA, making more proteins, burning and destroying waste, maintaining the cell’s chemical equilibrium. So although DNA is were the genetic information for life is stored, the real work is all done by the proteins. To do all these things, there are lots and lots of different proteins, but they are all made from the same 20 building blocks.

I find all this fascinating and getting to understand how it all comes together is really interesting!

      What do you think? 😉

Well, Paula probably likes proteins more than me but I appreciate how they help build muscle 🙂
