      A great question… that I and apparently many people can’t answer…

      Because its a liquid ? lol I’m sure there’s a fancier answer about molecules moving past each other at a certain rate and distance, etc. but I’m not the best one to answer that! 🙂

      Why is “wet” water? I think this is a matter of definitions. There are three states of matter: solids, liquids and gases. You know what the first one feels like, you are probably sitting on a “solid” chair right now. Take a deep breath, that’s what gas “feels” like – not much. Well what does a liquid feel like? You tell me? It’s a weird feeling, of slippery stuff, which you can’t hold. Well, we need a word for this – how about “Wet”?
